These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Juniper Outdoor’s website, communications, and travel services. By browsing our website, making an enquiry, or confirming a booking, you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and every member of your travelling party. Please read them together with our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Definitions
“Juniper”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Juniper Outdoor and its authorised representatives. “You” and “traveller” mean the person making a booking and each member of the party. “Trip” means any tour, trek, expedition, itinerary, or travel arrangement offered or operated by us.
- 2.
Bookings & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when we issue written confirmation and receive the applicable deposit or full payment. You are responsible for ensuring that all names, dates, and traveller details provided to us are accurate and match your travel documents. Errors arising from incorrect information supplied by you are your responsibility.
- 3.
Prices, Payments & Taxes
All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) unless stated otherwise and are inclusive of applicable taxes only where specified. Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed and may be revised thereafter for reasons beyond our control, such as changes in government taxes, permit fees, fuel surcharges, or currency fluctuation. Full payment must be received by the due date stated in your confirmation.

Inclusions & Exclusions
What is included in and excluded from your Trip is set out in the specific itinerary provided to you. Unless expressly stated, prices exclude airfare, visas, permit fees, personal expenses, tips, travel insurance, and any costs arising from delays or changes beyond our control.

Changes or Cancellation by You
Requests to amend or cancel a confirmed booking must be made in writing to support@juniperopc.com. Cancellation charges and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Third-party charges — including airline, hotel, and permit charges such as those in Annexure A of that policy — are additional and non-recoverable.

Changes or Cancellation by Juniper
Itineraries are planned with care, but Himalayan and remote travel is subject to conditions we cannot fully control. We reserve the right to alter routes, accommodation, transport, or schedules where necessary for safety, weather, permit, or operational reasons, and to substitute arrangements of comparable standard. Where we must cancel a Trip for reasons within our control, we will offer a suitable alternative or a refund of amounts paid to us, less any non-recoverable third-party costs.

Travel Documents, Visas & Permits
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, visas, permits, and any health documentation required for your Trip, including special permits for Bhutan, Nepal, Sikkim, or Tibet where applicable. We will advise on requirements to the best of our knowledge, but we are not liable for any refusal of entry, denial of a permit, or resulting loss.

Health, Fitness & High-Altitude Risk
Many of our Trips involve trekking, high altitude, and physically demanding activity in remote areas. You confirm that each traveller is medically fit to participate and has disclosed any relevant medical condition in advance. You accept the inherent risks of adventure and high-altitude travel, including altitude sickness, and agree to follow the reasonable instructions of our guides and leaders.

Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and, for certain Trips, is mandatory. Your policy should cover trip cancellation, medical treatment, high-altitude evacuation, and repatriation appropriate to your itinerary. We are not responsible for losses that would have been recoverable under an adequate insurance policy.

Traveller Conduct & Responsibilities
You agree to behave respectfully towards fellow travellers, local communities, guides, and the environment. We may, without refund, decline to carry or continue to carry any person whose conduct or health, in the reasonable opinion of our representative, endangers the safety, enjoyment, or wellbeing of the group.
- 11.
Third-Party Suppliers
Certain services — including flights, hotels, transport, and permits — are provided by independent suppliers who set their own terms and conditions. Those terms apply to the relevant service, and we act only as an agent in arranging them. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or default of any independent supplier.
- 12.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, adverse weather, epidemics, political unrest, strikes, or road and border closures. In such cases our Cancellation & Refund Policy applies.
- 13.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any Trip shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us for that Trip. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control or from your own acts or omissions.
- 14.
Complaints & Grievances
If a problem arises during your Trip, please raise it immediately with our representative so that we can try to resolve it on the spot. Any unresolved complaint should be sent in writing to support@juniperopc.com within 30 days of the end of your Trip, so that it can be properly investigated.

Intellectual Property
All content on our website and in our materials — including text, itineraries, photographs, logos, and the Juniper name and marks — is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.
